Almah : pocketshow and session of autographs

Almah will play at 15h00 (Brazilian hour) on the stage of Music Hall and will present its latest album, Fragile Equality, to the public of the Expomusic 2008.

lmah, the most expected attraction at ExpoMusic 2008, has confirmed his presence for September 26th, 27th, 28th. Edu Falaschi, Felipe Andreoli, Marcelo Barbosa, Paulo Schroeber and Marcelo Moreira, will officially launch their new album, Fragile Equality, in the biggest music exhibition of Latin America.

Edu Falaschi speaks about Angra on Almah's Myspace Blog

In the Almah 's official Myspace blog, Edu gives an explanation about the misunderstanding in the press about Angra's end :

"In the past few days many press vehicles in Europe received a newsletter from the record label AFM, where supposedly Angra and Almah's singer Edu Falaschi said that "Angra had been terminated". This is a big misunderstanding, and it was never actually said, neither by Edu or any other member of Angra. As Edu Falaschi puts it:

"I must clarify a big misunderstanding that is going on with the Almah promotion. Although I am fully concentrated on Fragile Equality's release and consequent promotion at this moment, I never said "Angra has been terminated". These are not my words whatsoever! Angra is not done; we're taking a break, a pause. The band is going through some difficult management issues, and all of us are doing our best to get back on the road. We don't know when it will be possible, but we hope to announce some good news soon. Almah is no longer a solo project, it's a full time band, but it doesn't mean that I or Felipe have left Angra, or that the band is over"."

Edu Falaschi endorsed by Yamaha Corporation

Edu Falaschi has just been endorsed by Yamaha Corporation, with guitars CPX 15 and FGX 720 (steel strings) and "Silent Guitar" SLG100N (nylon strings). Edu will use in its artistic productions and possibly on stage the Piano CP33.

Other Angra and Almah's great names are already in the Yamaha Corporation cast such Felipe Andreoli or Raphael Bittencourt.

Fragile Equality, the new Almah's album, will be released in Brazil on September 24 at the Expomusic 2008. Expomusic is an event bringing together exhibitors from music equipment, artists (...) in Sao Paulo on a week!
Almah has already took part in Expomusic 2007.
The musicians participate in an autograph session at the stands of Yamaha and Tagima on September 27 and 28 th.

Marcelo barbosa will take part in GTR Guitar Festival on September 5 and 6 th.
The GTR is one of the largest music schools of South America, founded in 1996 by Marcelo Barbosa.

Here some more news about Fragile Equality :

Fragile Equality is a concept album, and as its name suggests, it deals with the fragile balance that governs the universe. "The balance of two or more opposing forces, if one of them takes over, this balance is destroyed," explains Edu.
Musically, the album is also an opposition forces, in which coexist harmoniously force and weight of guitars with softer themes sometimes, but always in heavy metal sound. The 10 songs of the album have as main composer Edu, in partnership with one or more Almah's musicians.

The release of the album (on September 24 for South America and Asia, on October 17 for Europe, the U.S. and Canada) will be followed by the out of the book "Fragile Equality" - Equinoxe-book I "at the end of the year in Brazil. This book imagined and co-written by Edu in the Manga Japanese style speaks also about the balance, the equinox is a natural phenomenon which occurs 2 times per year and which is characterised by a length exactly equal between day and night.

After Fragile Equality releasing, the band will produce its first video clip with the music "All I am" and will begin a tour to promote the new album.
