Edu Falaschi : Rock'N'Roll Celebration Party in São Paulo

The lead singer of the bands Angra and Almah, Edu Falaschi, is one of the main attractions of Rock'N ' Roll Celebration Party to be held today at Manifesto Rock Bar, São Paulo, Brazil) from 9h00 pm (Brazilian time) to commemorate the international Day of Rock.

Together with Edu Falaschi, some of the top names of Brazilian Rock / Metal will take part in the event through "jams" and will play great classics of the style.

Members and ex-members of the following bands have confirmed their participation : Korzus, Shaman, Almah, Angra, Threat, Soulspell, Izi, Summer, among others.

Almah : title and cover artwork of the forthcoming album revealed

Almah has confirmed the title of its upcoming third album, the follow-up to the previous success “Fragile Equality”, as “MOTION”. The cover artwork is available above.

According to Edu Falaschi: “The cover has been created by myself with my own iPhone. I took a picture in Paris and used some applications to create that motion effect. Then Felipe used my picture and re-created this artwork in high resolution using Photoshop and completed it with new elements. This time we wanted something modern and direct to represent our music and we are totally sure that we got the result we really wanted since the very beginning. This CD will show the real Almah's language and personality! Stay tuned for further news!”

At the moment the band is finishing the recording of the new CD at Norcal Studios (São Paulo, Brazil). Motion is to be released this fall via AFM Records (Europe&North America), Laser Company (Brazil) and Victor JVC (Japan). The album is produced by Edu Falaschi and Felipe Andreoli.

Almah is: Edu Falaschi – vocals, Felipe Andreoli – bass, Marcelo Barbosa – guitars, Paulo Schroeber – guitars, Marcelo Moreira – drums. The band was established by Angra’s singer Edu Falaschi in 2006 and released two albums: “Almah” (2007) and “Fragile Equality” (2008). Almah entered Norcal Studios (São Paulo, Brazil) on May 2nd to record its 3rd studio effort.

Meanwhile, the band has already announced the first dates in 2011: the shows at ForCaos (22/07, Fortaleza) and Armazem do Som (23/07, Juazeiro do Norte) festivals in Brazil.

- Almah in the studio : Almah is about to finish the recordings of his third studio album, the successor of Fragile Equality (2008) !Edu Falaschi is currently recording the last vocal lines before sending the material in Netherlands for the mastering !
This month, Almah released on his Official Youtube Channel the 2nd issue of his video reports regarding the recordings of drums parts of his third album ! A version with English subtitles will be available soon !
