Almah : Marreco's Fest 2010

"The band Almah, led by the singer Edu Falaschi and bassist Felipe Andreoli (Angra), is back on stage, and confirms his participation in the new edition of Marreco's fest. According to the official release of the event, the band is one of the headliners of the night and will play on June 19th at Camping show in Distrito federal (Brasilia).

With the Almah's confirmation, the cast of the Marreco's fest 2010 has five others bands and 17 of vacancies to be filled. The bands already confirmed are : Mystifier, Dark Avenger, Sarcasm, and Uganga Heaven's Guardian.

Marreco's fest is a rock festival annually held since 2001 and which is a real showcase for metal bands from the Midwest, contributing to make the underground music scene stronger and adding value to this style of musical culture.

Marreco's Fest is a cultural event of great importance for the consolidation of underground music and music industry from Federal District. Besides promoting studios and rehearsals, records stores and specialized academies of music, the creation of jobs linked to local music activity is the indisputable corollary of Marreco's fest.

Promoted by the musician and cultural producer Fábio Marreco, the first edition of Marreco's Fest welcomed several bands from the city, friends and family. Throughout these years and its seven editions, the event was growing in popularity. No longer just a party with some friends but started to mark definitely the calendar of festivals in Brasilia. So much so that in 2008, for its 7th edition, the festival had grown to a sound and light structure compatibles with major festivals and welcomed more than 1500 people.

In parallel, Edu Falaschi and Felipe Andreoli are ending the new Angra's album, which should be released in August this year."
